I have experienced so much in my life. It’s hard to imagine how lucky I am.

“Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to become a creative. What that meant at the time, I didn’t know. Music was my first passion but I knew that journey would be too much. Art was the second path and even though that journey was long, I have reached many goals. I’m from Washington, DC and I  moved to St. Pete, Florida after college. After that, I moved back to Washington, DC and met Michelle. She brought me to Putnam, CT. I’ve lived here ever since. Michelle had traveled extensively before me and she was the one who introduced me to the idea that travel is so important in gaining a greater perspective on the world and life in general. She has a great eye when shooting photography and introduced me into the idea of documenting my life in photographs”

My Perspective

I feel more of an amateur at photography. I take many shots to get the right one. Even though I learned how to use an analog camera when I was in art school, I have become lazy with the idea that you can shoot as many shots as you want digitally. Michelle is better at getting that “one perfect shot” and stop at that.

As an illustrator, designer, and artist, I definitely have my own perspective when shooting. Although, I am aware of composition, lighting, etc… I try to develop a personal voice with my camera. I edit my photos at times which seems like cheating to me but as an amateur, I feel it is part of the learning process.
